Nesting noddy Lacepede IslandsAdd to Cart Add to Lightbox
A Common noddy (Anous stolidus) on her nest on the Lacepede Islands, to the north of Broome. Common noddies are the largest of the three noddy species and lays one egg in an untidy shallow nest of seaweed, grass and twigs, either on the ground or in low bushes and trees. On the Lacepedes the noddies build nests in the Spinifex.
