A young humpback whale calf travels on the surface whilst its mother swims just underneath. Photographed from a Jetranger helicopter just off Broome's Cable Beach, in Western Australia's Kimberley region. Western Australia's Kimberley coast is home to the world's largest population of Humpback whales, estimated at approximately 22,000.
