The Dampier Peninsula, north of Broome is an area of astounding natural beauty and home to approximately 800 inhabitants. The peninsula is bounded by the Indian Ocean to the west, and King Sound to the east.
The area is rich in reefs and marine life, and also contains important remnant rainforest pockets and dinosaur footprints.
